Test Results: Puppy, Novice and Open Spaniel Working Tests at Bagots Park
We had a fabulous day yesterday for East Midland Gundog Club first working test of the season! A real mix of weather!
A huge thank you to our sponsors Dog & Field for the generous Gift Bags for the Award Winners!
We had an enormous amount of entries in both stakes so thanks to everyone for supporting this Test. After a few late withdrawals the final numbers on the day were Novice (22) and Open (21). We ran the Novice and Open stakes at the same time, which worked really well, the wood was so big there was plenty of space. We even bumped into a few pheasants in the Open making it interesting.
Firstly a massive thank you to Samuel Sayce for hosting this event, the ground and facilities at Bagots Park are outstanding! We are extremely grateful!
A few more thank yous before we jump to the results! A big big thank you to our wonderful judges James Starkey, Louise Allen, Claire Starkey, Mark Lewis Phelan And I cannot thank enough my team of amazing wonderful helpers, you were all incredible and helped the day run smoothly. Bill Parkinson, Susie Parkinson, Sam Hazlewood, Steve Newitt, Sue Stephens, George, Olly Gardner, Sarah Hammond, Laura Pope and Con Ó Dubhraic.
Thanks to Sunny Thorpe at Thorpecreek Imagery who captured the day. Photos are now uploaded and available to purchase from this link.
